AS OUR CITY CHANGES
Being that this is the first and only Blog that I have ever attempted, bear with me.
I just want to share what I see for changes in the city of Kennedale. Perhaps some know that in the past few years great changes have started and continue to become a reality in this small city. As a resident since 1965 it is easy for me to see the positive things that continue to happen. Growth is one that has began in the past few years, some good and some not. Residential growth has slowed and it has across the nation, but we have the need for commerical growth to help our city tax base. With the new Walmart open that will help a good deal. Much of the Kennedale Parkway is in need of updating, and will come slowly in my opinion. New development has not happened on the Parkway, but not because of lack of work. The City and myself as a Realtor, has and continue to try to sell the City to developers. The new Town Center will be a great start when finished.
